Nokia(Microsoft Mobile) launched Nokia X during MWC. It was Nokia’s first Android phone but it didn’t came up with essential Google services installed.

Earlier we posted the tutorial about rooting Nokia X but after that Nokia pushed v11.1.1 for Nokia X users. After that we posted another tutorial for rooting Nokia X running on v11.1.1. And Now, Nokia has pushed yet another v1.1.2.2 for Nokia X. The update brings many improvement. But again previous method doesn’t work, so we have come with a new tutorial to root Nokia X.

This tutorial works for Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL running on v1.1.2.2 and also v11.1.1.

Pre-requisite

Before rooting the Nokia X and Nokia XL you need to do following things:

• Download Nokia X Toolkit from here.
• Enable USB Debugging mode
  • Launch device settings.
  • Tap Developer options in the System section.
  • Switch on developer options and tap OK in the query dialog shown.
  • Enable USB debugging in the Debugging section and tap OK in the query dialog shown.

• Update(or install) Nokia X USB drivers, Download it from here.
  • Goto desktop on PC
  • Right click on computer and click manage
  • Select Device manager
  • In the list, Nokia X will be listed with a Question mark icon.
  • Right click and select update driver, then select Browse my computer for driver option.
  • Now select the path of above extracted folder, in the folder select driver file.
  • Now drivers are updated.
  • switch off your phone

1. After installing the above software, open Nokia X toolkit, it will look like this:
   

ur fone must be switch off and connect to pc

1. go to ur nokia x root kit and copy the folder ROOT from root kit INTO sd card of nokia x and switc off ur fone.
2. ENTER 7 Your fone will boot into CWM recovery mode
3. now use volume up and down and power Button for OK
4. Now select Flash Zip from SD Card.
5. choose ROOT file 
6. ur fone gets root

  

        if u want to install playstore in NOKIA X then copy Gapps file to SD card and apply same method
