The Nokia XL runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean technically, even though it doesnt really look like it. Because the phone comes with an unlocked bootloader though, it was only going to be a matter of time before someone built a ROM for it.
Today we see the Nokia XL get it’s first AOSP-based Jelly Bean ROM thanks to developer AKSHACKER The CAF (Code Aurora Forums) based Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean ROM comes with all the Qualcomm specific enhancements and optimizations available for that particular chipset, which should allow for a much smoother experience. Apparently the ROM is very stable, with all core functionality working just fine, including the Dual-SIM functionality, Bluetooth, FM Radio and even the camera. MTP works just fine as well, and because the Nokia X does not have the usual three Android keys, the ROM is available in a version with on-screen navigation bar, and a version without it as well. You will need to root your Nokia XL first though, since the ROM requires root access with a custom recovery installed.
FIRSTLY FLASH THE ROM WITH CWM OR FLASH TOOLS THEN U HAVE TO DOWNLOAD PATCH AND ALSO FLASH THAT OTHERWISE NOKIA XL KEY WILL NOT WORK....
